1. Salt, Pepper, and Toothpick set

What better way to set your table off than with a really cool centerpiece? Using the necks of old recycled wine bottles lets you create a novel talking point for your dinner parties. Cut the necks off the bottles and place them onto a nice piece of finished wood and you are all set. Using glass from different colored bottles can also help you create a cool color-coded system, dark for pepper and light or clear for salt!

2. Tiki Torch Style Lamp

Turning an old bottle into a fun outdoor Tiki Torch can’t be easier. You can buy Tiki Torch kits now and can turn that old bottle into a cool torch lamp in minutes. 6. Hand Painted Recycled Glass Bottles

If the thought of cutting glass sounds like too much work or if you are a budding artist then how about painting your bottles and turning them into something funky? A can or two of spray paint and some string can turn old beer bottles into really eye-catching art you will fall in love with. They would also make some really great gifts too!

7. Wine Bottle Wind Chimes

An old wine bottle can quickly change from a burden you have to throw away into a nice decoration for your house you can’t bear to part with. A cork, a chain, some thin cord, and some small hanging ornaments will transform almost by magic into a cool set of wind chimes. Would you be disappointed to get this as a gift? Most likely you will love it and hang it in a special place in your home.

8. Bottle Drinking Glasses

One of the popular things to do when you have an old bottle that is either very unusual or has a great design you absolutely love. Rather than toss that lovely piece of glass away why not turn it into a cool drinking glass so you can keep enjoying it for many years to come? Just cut the bottle where you want the top of the glass to be using a bottle cutting jig and once your glass has been sanded and cleaned it’s ready for you to enjoy. Create a great set of glasses not found anywhere else and be the talk of the town!

9. Kitchen Utensil Tidy

Having a run-of-the-mill kitchen tidy is easy, just go to the shop and buy one. How about making your own from a unique funky-shaped bottle like this one? Using a stronger thicker recycled glass bottle for this idea is best as you will be using this a lot, especially when you see just how cool it looks in your kitchen!

10. Soap Dispenser Bottle

With a little bit of paint and string, you can turn that old bottle with that really unusual shape into a work of art. Grab your paint and let’s go! You don’t need to be Picasso for this nifty project, all you need is some paint, some string, a cool bottle, a stencil, and some patience. Once finished you’ll want to make more, especially when all your friends ask you to make them!

11. Beer Bottle Shot Glasses

Now you have taken the bottom off your bottles and turned them into some really cool drinking glasses or a nice candle for yourself or as a gift then what to do with the neck of the bottle? Worry not as there is a great solution to this problem. Shot glasses! Imagine serving your friends or family with some great beer in a glass of the same brand and a cheeky shot to go with it as well. Certainly unusual and highly sought after.

12. Elliptical Candle Holder

With just a bit of creative flair and a spoon, you can create something you would expect to see in a high-class restaurant or maybe even an art gallery or religious ceremony. This cool idea takes a lot of time and practice to master but the results are truly stunning! Make a table or centerpiece a cut above the rest.

If you are really pushed for time or feel you are not that creative then you can opt for a quick and easy solution, firefly bottle lamps. You can get cool firefly lamp kits which are surprisingly cheap but look amazing! You can get an old wine bottle looking really trendy in just a few minutes with one of these kits.

14. Painted Vase Bottles

Given the bottles are designed to store liquids very, why not use them as a cool vase? A lick of paint and some string will transform an old bottle into a cool vase that will brighten up any room. Add a few of your favorite flowers or if you are feeling extra arty then a few well-chosen dried branches, and your room will feel warmer and more welcoming in a flash.

15. Bird Feeder Bottle

Worried about your feathered friends? Worry no further. With a few pieces of metal, a cool bottle, and a gravity-fed seed tray you can keep the birds well fed and coming back for more. As an added bonus this suspended bottle is cat-proof so you can rest assured that even if you are a cat lover and have them in the house you can still look after your flying buddies too without any fights breaking out.

16. Wine Bottle Table Lamp

This last but no means least item is one of my favorite uses for recycled glass bottles. It works best with a light, opaque bottle as clear bottles or very dark bottles, for me, just doesn’t look as good. Get yourself some wood, make a wine bottle-sized hole in the square block, screw the flat piece to the back, and drill into the back to make a hole from the hole for the bottle to the hole for the cable. Add a cool bottle lamp kit and you are good to go.
